About Me

Hello, my name is Ana Reatiga and I am an English Teacher at Bonita High School. I graduated with my Associates Degree in Social and Behavioral Science from Citrus Community College. I received my Bachelor's degree in education at University of La Verne, as well as my credential in single subject English.

I started out as a music major at Citrus Community College, but soon realized that teaching was the career path for me. I plan to incorporate my love for music and theater into my classroom. I love working with children and I believe teachers have incredible power in how they form the lives of the future generations. I hope to inspire my students the way many of my teachers have inspired me. Presently, I am getting my masters in Tech Ed. but eventually I want to go back to University of La Verne and get my Masters Degree in school psychology. My Goal for this class is to learn how to better incorporate technology into my classroom to enhance my lessons. I hope to learn about different resources to better cater to the diverse learning styles of my students.

“Every child deserves a champion, an adult who will never give up on them. Who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best they can possibly be.” - Rita Pierson
